Toby Walters is the founder of ChurchGear, a company dedicated to making church production affordable, accessible, and achievable for congregations of any size or budget. He and his team have stepped into thousands of churches all across America (and only been kicked out of four), giving him an unmatched perspective on the challenges and opportunities churches face in worship and production.

Toby’s love affair with church production began at age 13, when he was asked to stop terrorizing the pastor and focus his energy on running the sound system instead. That moment launched a lifelong passion. He spent the next two decades traveling the country to lead worship at churches and events, until he combined his love for worship, tech, and the church through ChurchGear. Today, Toby hosts The ChurchGear Podcast, where he has interviewed hundreds of production leaders from the most influential churches in the country. He also speaks on stage at major church planting, worship, and production conferences, connecting with thousands of leaders who are shaping the future of the church.

Toby lives in Franklin, TN, with his wife and two teenagers. His home church is Church of the City, where, despite decades of “maturity”, he is still terrorizing the pastor.
