Gear Transport & Operational Support
Hit the Road. Serve the Church. Move Gear That Matters.
If you love travel, meaningful conversations, and hands-on work—and you care deeply about the local church—this role might be your sweet spot.
At ChurchGear, we help churches steward their resources by giving professional production gear a second life. As a Gear Transport & Operational Support team member, you’ll represent ChurchGear on the front lines—traveling coast to coast, building relationships with church tech leaders, and safely bringing gear home so it can serve the next ministry.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s part road trip, part relationship-building, part logistics challenge—and fully mission-driven.
What You’ll Do
- Travel across the continental U.S. (2–8 day trips) by plane, car, and box truck to churches and organizations
- Be the friendly, professional face of ChurchGear—engaging church staff with curiosity, respect, and care
- Build trust with tech directors by asking great questions and understanding their real needs
- Identify additional gear opportunities while onsite
- Safely gather, organize, and load production gear with a “Tetris Master” mindset
- Protect people, gear, and trucks by following ChurchGear safety procedures
- Capture helpful notes and insights about churches, tech leaders, and gear
- Support warehouse and operations teams with unloading, truck returns, and gear movement when needed
- Live out ChurchGear’s core values and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
This Role Is a Great Fit If You…
- Feel called to serve and support the Christian Church
- Enjoy travel and don’t mind long days on the road
- Are outgoing, professional, and comfortable talking with church leaders
- Can safely drive box trucks up to 26’ and maintain a clean driving record
- Take pride in doing physical, hands-on work the right way
- Are reliable, organized, self-motivated, and team-minded
- Can lift up to 50 lbs and move heavier gear using proper equipment and teamwork
- Are 21+ and able to pass background and insurance checks
What We Offer
- All travel expenses covered on travel days
- A role with real autonomy, responsibility, and variety
- The chance to see churches across the country and support their missions
- Meaningful work that directly helps churches thrive
- A team that values faith, excellence, and doing things the right way
If you’re energized by travel, relationships, and serving the Church—and you’re ready to work hard for something that matters—we’d love to meet you.
